1. Look up the Type of splice kit (from the table below) that corresponds to the thickness and strength of your belt. For example, Type 35 is for belts from 3/16" to 5/16" in thickness with a maximum working tension of 200 PIW (Pounds Per Inch of Width)
2. Decide on the type of cover material you need:
   • SBR - Styrene-Butadiene Rubber (our standard cover material) or
   • EPDM - Ethylene-Propylene-Diene-Monomer (our heavy-duty, heat, fire, oil, and weather-resistent cover material)
3. If your conveyor belt is used on a slider bed, make sure to select a product with the special Slider Bed nomenclature from the list below
4. Select the product with appropriate Type/Cover/(Optional Slider Bed) you need from the bottom of the page
5. Finally, select your belt width and thickness when viewing the product details. It is important to select the specific thickness so that we can provide the correct length screws with the kit.
