Ceramic Trowelables

Abrasion and corrosion epoxy coatings consisting of alumina ceramic beads suspended in an epoxy resin. They provide excellent protection for use in chute, elbows, cones, and material and and process handling equipment.

Our proprietary formulas are ideal on wet or dry and vertical or overhead surfaces. Trowelable kits offer exceptional abrasion resistance, 1:1 mix ratio, non-sagging, covering approximately 14 sq. ft. when a quarter inch depth is applied.

Surface Preparation

Surface must be free of laitance, grease, oil, and any other contaminants that would inhibit a secure bond
Sandblasting or wirebrushing is strongly recommended for all surfaces
We suggest anchor studs or expanded metal for vertical or overhead applications

Mixing Epoxies

Combine one (1) part by volume of Component "A" with one (1) part by volume of Component "B". The blend must be thoroughly mixed for at least 3 minutes with a trowel or slow speed drill and mixing paddle for best results
